2019 - The Village

The Village acts as a central point of gathering for the neighborhood of Taman Paramount, it is a different take on a commercial development in an urban area. The building functions as affordable retail stores and F&B at the ground and first floor, it also invites people to participate and learn about urban farming. The roof garden is all about urban farming. It is divided to two sections. The private section primary function is to supply vegetables, fruits, and fish to be sold at the Grocery store at the Ground Level, generating enough for 500 families a week. The secondary function is to have the food related shops in the building use healthy ingredients. The public section is to allow the community to interact, contribute, and learn about farming. It also hosts educational visits and practical classes and the horizontal hydroponics are rented to the public use.
